USACE・718CES Plant visit
2022.5.6 / Giken Co., Ltd. / Nanjo-shi, Okinawa
We have invited USACE from the U.S. ARMY and 718CES from the U.S. Air Force and their Resident Engineers to see "PS Construction Co., Ltd." designed Pre-Cast Concrete Material that is manufactured by "Giken Co., Ltd." to show the manufacturing process and characteristics and future potential of their products.
WThe presentation held during the visit has shown what can be manufactured in Okinawa to cut costs and construction schedule by locally producing and procuring vital materials for the U.S. Military Construction Projects, while creating jobs for many local residents in Okinawa through these collaborations between mainland Japan's large corporations and Okinawa's local manufacturing companies.
After the plant visit, all participants had visited "Okinawa Prefectural Art Museum" designed, manufactured, and built by "PS Construction Co., Ltd." and the Pre-Cast Concrete Manufacturer "Giken Co., Ltd." which was designed to portrait the "Gusuku" (Castle) of Okinawa.
